« Ik ben altijd ontroerd van een diepe noodzaak om het onbekende aan te raken en te creëren. Mijn praktijk onderzoekt consequent de relatie tussen "individueel" en "ander". »
Christina Drakos is een bekroonde fotograaf en schilder die woont en werkt tussen Parijs en Limassol. Door middel van haar figuratieve en abstracte werken streeft ze ernaar de elegantie en rust uit te beelden die te vinden is in de schoonheid van onze natuur. Christina ziet het menselijk lichaam vaak als een landschap, compleet met te onthullen vormen, vormen, schakeringen en lege ruimtes. Ze maakt gebruik van acrylverf op papier en canvas.
