Christos Baloukos is een hedendaagse figuratieve schilder uit Athene, Griekenland. Zijn werk onderzoekt de psychologische stilte in hedendaagse interieurs, waarbij hij een ingetogen kleurenpalet en paletmes gebruikt om gelaagde, tactiele oppervlakken te creëren. Door middel van gecontroleerde compositie en ruimtelijk evenwicht onderzoeken zijn schilderijen de stille spanning tussen eenzaamheid en het gestructureerde moderne leven.
Baloukos studeerde schilderkunst, grafisch ontwerp en iconografie, en ontwikkelde een sterke basis in tekenen en materiaalonderzoek. Zijn werk combineert klassieke disciplines met een hedendaagse beeldtaal, waarbij de nadruk ligt op sfeer, stilte en de emotionele lading van de ruimte.
Zijn werken bevinden zich in privécollecties, musea en speciaal ingerichte horecagelegenheden, waaronder hotels en interieurs in heel Europa en daarbuiten.
