« Mijn werken tonen mijn fascinatie voor het menselijk gedrag. De bron van mijn beelden komt voort uit een combinatie van mijn eigen persoonlijke herinneringen en mijn perceptie van de werkelijkheid. »
De kunst van Dana Pandici legt een vinger op de wond en legt het lelijke gezicht van de werkelijkheid bloot. Haar stukken zijn gemaakt met als doel een gesprek en reflectie te inspireren. Haar kunstwerken variëren van donkere en introspectieve portretten tot etherische lijntekeningen, waarbij ze houtskool en de spateltechniek gebruikt. Haar kunst is geïnspireerd door haar opvoeding in Roemenië en haar daaropvolgende verhuizing naar Duitsland, en haar daaropvolgende strijd om een gevoel van plaats te vinden.
