« Bovenal ben ik geïnteresseerd in mensen als beelden. In mijn werken probeer ik niet alleen het gezicht of lichaam van een persoon vast te leggen, maar vooral de schoonheid van zijn ziel. We weten hoe we onze emoties, stemming of houding moeten maskeren. Vaak wordt dit alles zorgvuldig verborgen, maar ik zie de Ziel van de mens en ben in staat om dit licht op doek over te brengen. »
Elena Ilina is een kunstenaar uit Rusland wiens werken op vele tentoonstellingen in binnen- en buitenland zijn gepresenteerd. Terwijl haar verschillende werken een breed scala aan onderwerpen onderzoeken, heeft ze zich recentelijk gefocust op portretten, naakten, erotische kunst en fantasielandschappen. Elena is het meest geïnteresseerd in haar artistieke proces - "de vrouw als beeld" en de overdracht van het licht van haar ziel op het doek. Elena creëert in gemengde technieken, met olie, acryl, bladgoud, pastels, potloden op papier of canvas.
