Evgeni Nedev is een ervaren Bulgaarse schilder die zijn werk voornamelijk nationaal heeft tentoongesteld, maar ook in Frankrijk en Tsjechië. Hij waardeert de mogelijkheid van schilderen om de wereld te presenteren zoals hij die ziet, onbewerkt en nauw verbonden met zijn geest. Hij schildert voornamelijk landschaps- en stillevens die een serene energie uitstralen, waarbij hij meestal expressieve penseelstreken en figuratieve details gebruikt om een algeheel gevoel van evenwicht te bereiken.
