Evgeniy Monahov is een gepassioneerde Russische schilder wiens werken te zien zijn geweest in prijzen, tentoonstellingen en collecties in de VS, Spanje, Rusland en China. Hij ziet zijn stijl als zittend op het kruispunt van realisme en impressionisme, en richt zich op het weergeven van de pure schoonheid van kleine details: schaduwen op haar in zonlicht, de gloed in iemands ogen, het zilverachtige ochtendlicht.
