Farzaneh Ravesh, geboren in Teheran in 1981, is een getalenteerde schilder en pleitbezorger voor kunsteducatie. Haar technieken zijn gebaseerd op grootheden als Picasso, waarbij ze thema’s herhaalt en herinterpreteert. In haar emotioneel geladen werken weerspiegelt ze de verschrikkingen en het lijden van haar thuisland Iran. De nadruk ligt steeds op herhalingen van eerdere kunstwerken als gevolg van terugkerende historische gebeurtenissen, wat een bijzonder inzicht biedt in het terugkerende karakter van de geschiedenis.
