Fatih Sungurtekin is een gevestigde kunstenaar uit Turkije wiens werk te zien is geweest in nationale tentoonstellingen en publicaties. Sungurtekin beoefent kunst sinds zijn kindertijd en verkent thema's als collectief geheugen en tijd, de vernietiging van stedelijk erfgoed en de vermindering van de menselijke dialoog in zijn werk. Hij gebruikt mixed media technieken in zijn originele semi-abstracte werken die nostalgie en emotie oproepen door textuur en vervaagde kleurenpaletten.
