Gerlinde Philadelphy is een schilder en keramiste met veertig jaar ervaring en talloze cursussen in binnen- en buitenland. Ze gebruikt acrylverf, pastelkrijt, houtskool, zand, marmerstof, bitumen en waskrijt in meerlagige, abstracte composities waarin organische en architectonische vormen zijn verwerkt. Haar werken balanceren tussen levendige kleuren en contemplatieve ingetogenheid, raken de kijker, roepen herinneringen op en nodigen hen uit om diep in hun eigen waarnemingen te duiken.
