Gianluca De Leo is een Italiaanse kunstenaar wiens schilderijen op nationaal niveau zijn tentoongesteld. Napels en de haat- en liefdesrelatie die veel van haar inwoners met de stad hebben, is een van de terugkerende thema's in zijn kunst. De Leo's composities combineren geometrie en het abstracte, waarbij ze precieze ‘niet-plaatsen’ weergeven, die hij beschrijft als heel anders dan hoe het wordt weergegeven en geportretteerd door de mediahype. Zijn minimalistische composities zijn gemaakt met acrylverf op canvas.
