« Het oneindige van de wereld begrijpen is onmogelijk, maar je kunt het voelen en door intuïtie en onderbewustzijn een coherente abstracte metafysische structuur van de wereld vormen. »
Het werk van Ibragim Shanaev is tentoongesteld in zijn geboorteland Rusland, maar ook in China, Italië, Frankrijk, België en Zwitserland. De schilder is van mening dat elke gebeurtenis, elk object en de wereld om ons heen gevuld is met een 'onzichtbare essentiële essentie die ons met energie vult'. Het is zijn artistieke doel om deze essentie te onthullen door middel van kleuren, de opstelling van lijnen en vlekken, maar ook door abstracte vormen. Zijn favoriete medium is olieverf op doek.
