Igor Shcherbakov is een opwindende Russische schilder die zijn werk nationaal heeft tentoongesteld. Gebruikmakend van archetypen van het vrouwelijke beeld om creatieve ideeën uit te drukken en hun natuurlijke en onmiddellijke kracht te benadrukken, componeert hij werken die meer gericht zijn op gevoel dan op esthetiek. Voor Shcherbakov is creatieve expressie niet alleen grenzeloos, maar ook de oudste, intuïtieve menselijke behoefte.
