Inna Volvak is een in Rusland gevestigde kunstenaar wiens schilderijen op grote schaal nationaal zijn geëxposeerd. Ze noemt haar stadsgezichten, die vaak figuratieve elementen bevatten, 'industriële romantiek'. Als geboren stedeling is Volvak gefascineerd door het contrast tussen nieuwe gebouwen en het oude deel van haar stad, dat in het heden evolueert en blijft bestaan. Ze maakt voornamelijk gebruik van olieverf en acryl op canvas.
