Islam-kant is een ervaren schilder uit Nederland wiens werken nationaal en solo zijn vertoond. Werkend als arts, was het toeval dat Islam-kant op een dag begon te schilderen uit nieuwsgierigheid, en sindsdien heeft hij zijn praktijk ontwikkeld. Hij schildert abstracte werken in acryl en olie op canvas die spelen met kleur, contrast en licht, en variëren van drukke druppelschilderijen tot meer minimalistische kleurstalen.
