Julien Jubault is een autodidactische Franse schilder, gevestigd in Barcelona. Hij werkt voornamelijk met acrylverf op doek, geïmpregneerd met olieverf, walnootbeits en minerale elementen. Hij omarmt abstract expressionisme, brengt verf en reliëfs in lagen aan en vereenvoudigt organische vormen en sensaties, op zoek naar visueel evenwicht. Hij verkent perspectief door de spanning tussen structurerende lijnen en gedempte contrasten. Zijn werk, doordrenkt van natuur en tijd, nodigt uit tot contemplatie en brengt een diepe emotie over die verband houdt met de vrijheid om de zichtbare wereld te observeren en te transformeren.
