Katrina Avotina is een kunstenaar gevestigd in het Verenigd Koninkrijk wiens werken nationaal zijn tentoongesteld in Letland, Frankrijk, de Verenigde Staten en Zwitserland. In haar schilderijen besteedt ze speciale aandacht aan het spel van kleuren, lijnen en plot. Avotina's reizen en haar geboorteland Letland inspireren ook haar artistieke proces. Elk van haar felgekleurde composities vertelt een verhaal en bevat vaak fantastische elementen. Ze maakt gebruik van acrylverf op canvas.
