Krasimir Metodiev is een bekroonde Bulgaarse beeldhouwer wiens werken nationaal en in Japan zijn tentoongesteld. De mensheid is volgens hem een natuurlijke habitat van kunst en onderdeel van ons complexe bestaan. Metodievs stukken zoeken naar harmonie op basis van oppositie, vertaald door contrasterende volumes, ruimterichtingen, media en kleuren. Hij stelt dat de plastische taal die inherent is aan zijn sculptuur in wezen sober is, met minimale maar radicale volumes.
