Ik heb elf solotentoonstellingen gehad en deelgenomen aan meer dan 40 groepstentoonstellingen en kunstprojecten, en ben nog steeds actief in mijn creatieve praktijk. Mijn werken worden verzameld door zowel bedrijven als particulieren in Hongkong en Zuid-Korea. Momenteel ben ik met verlof van de Graduate School of Fine Arts van de Hongik University ter voorbereiding op mijn volgende solotentoonstelling.
Mijn werk draait om een voortdurende dialoog met de stip (●) – een vorm die ik zie als de oorsprong van alle dingen. Hoewel klein, heeft de stip een oneindige betekenis: begin en einde, aanwezigheid en afwezigheid. Het is een gedistilleerde taal van leven en bestaan.
Elke stip is niet zomaar geschilderd, maar zorgvuldig gevormd. Ik bestudeer de viscositeit en droogtijd van acrylverf, zelfs de luchtstroom in de studio. Stippen worden met stille precisie geplaatst en verrijzen tot kleine sculpturale vormen. Licht onthult hun dimensionale aard door schaduwen die subtiel verschuiven.
