Laurentiu Dimisca is een prijswinnende schilder, textielkunstenaar en beeldhouwer die in Roemenië woont en zijn werk nationaal heeft tentoongesteld, in Zwitserland, Italië, de Verenigde Staten, de Dominicaanse Republiek, Nederland en Frankrijk. Als verhalende schilder wiens stijl in het echte van vrije figuratie ligt, vertalen Dimisca's composities zijn eigen kijk op mythologieën, evenals volksverhalen uit zijn jeugd. Zijn levendige stukken worden gemaakt met acrylverf en potloden op canvas of karton.
