Marcella Lassen is een ervaren kunstenaar gevestigd in Zwitserland wiens schilderijen te zien zijn geweest in solotentoonstellingen in het binnenland, maar ook in Duitsland en Oostenrijk. In haar meest recente werken onderzoekt ze thema's als het kortstondige, hoe het verstrijken van de tijd ten grondslag ligt aan elk aspect van het leven, de iconen van de samenleving en de natuur. Terwijl haar composities levendig eigentijds zijn, gebruikt Lassen de traditionele technieken van de oude meesters.
