Marco Pettinari is een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar gevestigd in Italië wiens werken te zien zijn geweest in verschillende nationale solo- en groepstentoonstellingen. Hij beschrijft zijn ervaring met kunst als een reis, vergelijkbaar met die van Ulysses, waarin hij de wonderen van de wereld en de gevaren ervan verkent. Voor Pettinari is het onmogelijk om een definitieve bestemming te vinden, "Ithaca is een voortdurende luchtspiegeling aan de horizon".
