Marijan Mirt, een gerenommeerd Sloveens beeldhouwer, schilder en fotograaf, combineert elementen van klassieke en hedendaagse kunstvormen. Zijn kenmerkende stijl combineert traditionele beeldhouwkunst met digitale methoden, waarbij hij gebruikmaakt van een spectrum aan stedelijke materialiteit, fotogrammetrie en 3D-printing. Zijn oppervlakken creëren een intrigerend samenspel van ruwe en geschilderde afwerkingen. Zijn evocatieve werk dwingt kijkers om vergeten fragmenten van het stadsleven opnieuw te evalueren en zo de delicate balans tussen veerkracht en kwetsbaarheid te confronteren.
