Werken in opdracht

Michalis Kevgas, een in Athene opgeleide beeldhouwer, onderzoekt hartstochtelijk steen, brons en klei in antropocentrische ontwerpen. In navolging van de oude Griekse verfijning manipuleert hij materialen met behulp van pers- en verloren wastechnieken, waardoor een blijvende indruk van het classicisme achterblijft. Zijn sculpturen pulseren met het goddelijke ritme van de natuur en stralen een diepgaande verbinding uit met de wereld om ons heen.
