Michele Krauss is een Chileens-Amerikaanse, prijswinnende kunstenaar die in Chili en de Verenigde Staten woont. Haar schilderijen zijn internationaal tentoongesteld in Chili, de Verenigde Staten, Japan, Australië, Frankrijk en Italië. Haar werken zijn persoonlijke statements die reflecties verkennen op innerlijke transformaties die door de buitenwereld worden gevormd, overgebracht door lagen van subtiele symboliek. Krauss' talrijke verplaatsingen hebben hun weerslag gevonden in composities die soms een rusteloze energie of een zoektocht naar evenwicht met zich meedragen – een steeds veranderende dialoog tussen stabiliteit en verandering, verbondenheid en vrijheid, conformisme en verkenning.
