Milly Martionou is een Griekse schilder die in Athene woont en werkt. Ze presenteerde haar werk op tal van solo- en groepstentoonstellingen op internationaal niveau. Martionou's werk zweeft tussen figuratief en realistisch van stijl, flirtend met abstract expressionisme. Haar huidige werk gebruikt vrij gevormde maar nauwkeurig geplaatste penseelstreken om haar compositie te ontwikkelen. De ideeën, gedachten en psyche van de kunstenaar worden afgebeeld in cognitieve kaarten en worden gepresenteerd als evoluerende structuren van kleinere elementen die in verschillende trajecten vertrekken. Martionou's werk is levendig, energiek, speels en belichaamt licht, beweging en emotie terwijl het diep meditatief blijft.
