Kang Minseok is een Zuid-Koreaanse hedendaagse kunstenaar die snelheid, identiteit en existentiële strijd onderzoekt door middel van abstracte schilderkunst. Zijn filosofie concentreert zich op de spanning tussen beweging en stilte, competitie en zelfontdekking, wat de uitdagingen van het moderne leven weerspiegelt. Hij ziet auto's als metaforen voor ambitie, veerkracht en transformatie, en symboliseert de zoektocht naar betekenis in onzekerheid. Met behulp van schrapen met een rakel, acryllagen en borduurwerk legt hij energie vast en deconstrueert hij gestructureerde vormen, waarbij hij de kwetsbaarheid van identiteit benadrukt. Zijn werk daagt de perceptie van beweging, tijd en bestaan uit en biedt een diepgaande verkenning van zelfreflectie en menselijke veerkracht in de wereld van vandaag.
