Monica Gewurz is een bekroonde kunstenares gevestigd in Canada, wiens werken zowel nationaal als in de Verenigde Staten op grote schaal zijn geëxposeerd. De abstractie van constant veranderende vormen, kleuren en patronen van licht in het gereflecteerde water, veranderende luchten en de patina van kostbare mineralen fascineren haar voortdurend. Gewurz 'inspiratie haalt hij uit de natuur, haar omgeving, ervaringen en verbeeldingskracht. Haar levendige composities zijn gemaakt met acrylverf, olieverf, verguldsel en collage op canvas of hout.
