Paolo Pallara experimenteert met gemengde media en getextureerde oppervlakken, waarbij hij acryl, emaille, bitumen en essenhout op canvas en hout gebruikt. Af en toe verrijkt hij zijn werk met fragmenten van boeken en brieven uit die tijd. Hij vervolmaakte zijn grafische opleiding aan de Accademia San Nicolò in Ferrara. In zijn landschappen verweeft hij symboliek en abstractie, waarmee hij de essentie van de mens verbeeldt, gescheiden door de horizon, die een pad vormt om te volgen op zoek naar innerlijkheid.
Zijn werken roepen een intense reflectie op over het dualisme tussen materie en geest. Ze communiceren mysterie, introspectie en het diepe verlangen om zichzelf te ontdekken voorbij de zichtbare wereld.
