Peisy Ting is een autodidactische abstracte kunstenaar wiens werk de emotionele en psychologische contrasten onderzoekt die de menselijke ervaring vormgeven. Aangetrokken door abstractie vanwege de vrijheid en vloeiendheid ervan, gebruikt ze felle kleuren, gelaagde texturen en intuïtieve gebaren om thema's van dualiteit te onderzoeken – chaos en controle, licht en schaduw, structuur en overgave.
Haar praktijk is diep persoonlijk en geworteld in transformatie. Door cruciale levensmomenten om te zetten in creatieve daden, herontdekt Peisy haar verhaal met werken die zowel rauw als ingetogen zijn, en die kwetsbaarheid en kalmte in evenwicht brengen. Elke materiaalkeuze wordt een metafoor: textuur als herinnering, goud als breuk, ruimte als veerkracht.
Peisy ziet schilderen als een ruimte van onderzoek – niet voor oplossingen, maar voor reflectie. Haar werk nodigt uit tot stille, introspectieve ontmoetingen waar contrast geen conflict wordt, maar een drempel: een plek waar aanwezigheid, emotie en betekenis in stilte ontstaan.
