Piotr Szczur is een ervaren Poolse schilder die zijn werk nationaal heeft tentoongesteld. Zwaar beïnvloed door de schoonheid van het Amerikaanse landschap, neemt zijn Americana-serie 'Made in USA' de kijker mee van kleine bars langs de weg naar uitgestrekte nationale parken, levendige natuurlijke kleuren van de lucht tot de kunstmatige neon gloed van benzinestations. Szczur probeert uiteindelijk essentie uit de realiteit te halen en een algehele artistieke signatuur te bereiken die wordt gekenmerkt door een balans tussen energie en controle.
