Qing Yang is een gevestigde Chinese schilder die zijn werk in China en de VS heeft tentoongesteld. Met als doel begrip en verbinding bij zijn publiek te bevorderen, componeert hij schilderijen die fungeren als een samensmelting van stijlen, benaderingen en onderwerpen. Zijn figuratieve levensscènes gaan gepaard met abstracte wendingen en vormen een algehele esthetiek die wordt gekenmerkt door fascinerende, onverwachte kleurencombinaties en vertrouwde personages.
