Raoof Haghighi is een prijswinnende kunstenaar uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk, die zijn werk over de hele wereld heeft tentoongesteld. Zijn schilderijen zijn meestal olieverf op doek en gebouwd op zijn sterke culturele tradities en zijn interesse in de veranderende wereld van vandaag. Zijn werk combineert vaak hedendaagse ideeën met traditionele technieken. In zijn schilderijen heeft hij vaak de attitudes, angsten, conflicten, onverenigbaarheden en ongeschreven regels in twijfel getrokken die onze omgeving en ons gedrag daarin hebben gevormd.
