Romy Pfeifer, geboren in Bad Säckingen en opgegroeid in verschillende steden in Zuid-Duitsland, woont in een landelijke regio in het zuiden van Stuttgart.
De overwegend autodidactische fotograaf werkt aan een breed scala aan onderwerpen. Deze variëren van landschapsfotografie, dierenfotografie, portretten en reisfotografie tot experimentele en abstracte fotografie. Hier werkt ze met verschillende opnametechnieken en concepten.
Sinds 2015 neemt zij met haar werk deel aan nationale en internationale tentoonstellingen en beurzen.
