Sergei Oganov is een bekroonde beeldhouwer die afkomstig is uit Wit-Rusland en op grote schaal werd tentoongesteld op nationaal niveau, maar ook in Oostenrijk en China. Zowel zijn monumentale als ezelstukken onderzoeken mythen, geschiedenis en de mensheid, inclusief zowel zwakheden als emoties. Oganov werkt het liefst met graniet en brons. Alle stadia van creatie in ezelbeeldhouwwerk, van de eerste schets tot het gieten van brons, doet hij zelf.
