Sergey Sergeev is een ervaren kunstenaar van Russische afkomst, die sinds 2013 in Frankrijk woont en werkt. Beïnvloed door de meesters van de Noordelijke Renaissance, wordt zijn werk gecreëerd met behulp van een gelaagde techniek om zijn karakteristieke dynamische en complexe schilderijen te creëren. Sergeevs werk put ook uit de onderliggende filosofie van de 17e-eeuwse taoïstische schilderkunst en de symboliek van runentekens. Zijn artistieke oeuvre wordt gekenmerkt door statische beelden die technologie, bewaking, cyborgs en geschiedenis beschouwen.
