Seung Yoon Choi is een opwindende kunstenaar wiens werken op grote schaal in heel Korea zijn tentoongesteld. Zijn abstracte schilderijen weerspiegelen een kernthema van paradox: het hart trekt samen en zet uit, licht en duisternis ontmoeten elkaar dagelijks; de aarde is ontworpen op tegenstellingen. Nauwkeurig gecontroleerde lijnen, spaties en opvallende blauwe penseelstreken vangen de emotie van deze tegenstelling op.
