Shan Re is een ervaren Indiase schilder en beeldhouwer met internationale bekendheid. Kleur is de primaire visuele taal waarmee ze communiceert met haar kijker - een stille en dynamische taal die krachtige emoties overbrengt. Qua onderwerp ziet Re haar werk als vrij van representatieve conventies en onafhankelijk van tijd en ruimte; haar kunstwerken vangen eerder spirituele trillingen op uit verschillende bronnen.
