Simon Kojin is een opkomende Russische schilder en tekenaar wiens werken in heel Europa zijn tentoongesteld. Geïnspireerd door landschappen en de open lucht schildert hij portretten, stillevens en historische composities. Hij let vooral op kleur en zijn doeken bieden zintuiglijke afbeeldingen van serene omgevingen. Kojin schildert graag en plein air, en probeert uiteindelijk de schoonheid vast te leggen die hij waarneemt.
