Sinan Hussein is een bekroonde kunstenaar gevestigd in de Verenigde Staten wiens schilderijen nationaal zijn tentoongesteld, evenals in Koeweit, Irak, Turkije, Saoedi-Arabië, Qatar, de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, Jordanië en Bahrein. Zijn werken zijn geïnspireerd door het oude Mesopotamië, de pracht van zijn geschiedenis en het gruwelijke heden. De hedendaagse composities van Hussein zijn bijna surrealistisch in zijn nevenschikking van personages en vreemde objecten. Voor hem zijn het levende metaforen uit het verleden.
