Jo Do Jung is een ervaren kunstenaar gevestigd in Zuid-Korea wiens schilderijen nationaal en in Frankrijk zijn tentoongesteld. Hij maakt uitsluitend gebruik van pigmenten die in de bodem van zijn lokale omgeving worden aangetroffen en beschrijft zijn onderscheidende werken als voornamelijk het verkennen van de cyclus van natuur, leven en hoop. Jung wordt vaak aangetrokken door boommotieven. Houtknopen symboliseren voor hem het genezingsproces.
