Tillian is een bekroonde kunstenaar gevestigd in Australië. Zijn schilderijen zijn te zien geweest in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen door het hele land. Hij beschrijft zijn artistieke landschappen als visuele verhalen die passages in cyclische tijd en ruimte beschrijven. In zijn werk onderzoekt Tillian thema's die verband houden met angst, verlangen en extatische herkenning. In zijn artistieke proces geeft hij de voorkeur aan het gebruik van acrylverf en vergulding op hout. Tillians praktijk verbindt schilderkunst, mythopoëtiek en ecologische reflectie.
