Trayko Popov is een bekroonde Bulgaarse schilder die heeft deelgenomen aan solotentoonstellingen in Rusland, België en zijn thuisland. Voor hem, ergens tussen het ontdekken van het spel van licht, kleuren en objecten, ligt de illusie van het leven. Geleid door zijn emoties schildert hij kleurrijke mensen, poppen, landschappen en alles wat indruk op hem maakt. De surrealistische en humoristische afbeeldingen van Popov worden gemaakt met technieken zoals tekenen, schilderen, afdrukken en digitale collage.
