Tropel is een Franse schilder die afkomstig is uit Rouen en zowel nationaal als in Luxemburg en België heeft geëxposeerd. Zijn werken zijn gericht op suggestie en zijn benadering is gericht op de taal en expressie van het lichaam. Geïnspireerd door kalligrafie vertaalt hij beweging, gebaren en lijnen door de vervorming van het lichaam, om 'het essentiële' eruit te halen. Tropel werkt voornamelijk met acrylverf, omdat ze hem uitdagen om snel en spontaan te werken.
