Vincent Messelier is een schilder, fotograaf en graficus gevestigd in België wiens werken zijn tentoongesteld in Spanje, Brazilië, de Verenigde Staten, Italië en Frankrijk. Zijn kenmerkende composities zijn geïnspireerd op muziek, legendes, het universum, spiritualiteit, reizen, de natuur en dieren. Met behulp van paletmessen heeft Messelier zijn eigen stijl ontwikkeld, die hij 'meridianisme' noemt, vanwege de horizontale en verticale lijnen en strepen in zijn stukken die de meridianen van de wereld symboliseren.
