Alua Tebenova ist eine kasachische Künstlerin aus Rumänien, deren Gemälde in beiden Ländern ausgestellt wurden. Durch ihre Arbeiten versucht sie, bestimmte philosophische Aspekte mit der Symbolik zu verbinden, die der Ethnogenese des Nomadenvolkes Zentralasiens zugeschrieben wird. Tebenovas künstlerischer Ausdruck ist vielfältig, sie wechselt zwischen klassischem Realismus und abstraktem Expressionismus und verbindet das Traditionelle mit der Moderne.
