Dimitra Papageorgiou, eine autodidaktische Künstlerin, verwendet Öl- und Acrylfarben sowie gemischte Medien hauptsächlich auf Leinwand und altem Holz. Sie entwickelte sich von impressionistischen und figurativen Kunstwerken zu einem lockereren, abstrakteren Stil mit unterschiedlichen Pinselstrichen, Texturen und leuchtenden Farben. Ähnlich einem ruhigen Tag am Strand der Träume fängt ihre Kunst das flüchtige Gleichgewicht zwischen der Stärke und Zerbrechlichkeit der Natur ein, insbesondere ihre geliebten Meereslandschaften.
