Vytautas Laisonas ist ein etablierter litauischer Maler mit internationaler Ausstrahlung. Laisonas malt im figurativen Stil, wobei er oft idyllische ländliche Landschaften mit breiten Pinselstrichen abbildet, um ein weiches Finish zu erzielen. Seine bukolischen Gemälde erinnern an die Zeit der Romantik, gefüllt mit sanften Hügeln, wogenden Wolken und scheinbar endlosen Flüssen.
