Über das Werk
The promise to support and love one another in all life situations, is the most valuable promise in the world.
When my man got down on one knee and proposed at sunset, confessed his love to me in the most beautiful words, my world came to a standstill. I realized that this was the moment when he told me that he sees our future together forever. A moment of immense gratitude, joy and the feeling of safety came over me. The safety of always having… my man by my side and that no matter what, we will always have each other.
A proposal is not just a confession of love, but a promise to always walk together, side by side.
To illustrate the depth and meaning to me of this promise, I created an artwork purely made of resin. The entire work of art consists exclusively of 13 layers of resin mixed with handpicked pigments. It has a mesmerizing three dimensional depth and is absolutely unique.
