This artwork was created using fine Kremer pigments and hand-stretched canvas (of 380g quality). A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.
The artwork is signed on the back and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.

"What seems like chance or serendipity actually reflects years of honed skills in measuring, blending, searching to find what responds to my inner sense of how colours, light and dark, compete - tensions release, conflict and resolution - an echo of life - its journey of holding back and letting go - paying attention to the tiniest detail and seeing the broader picture at the same time."

« Meine abstrakten Stücke bilden ein eigenes Universum. »
Fintan Whelan ist ein in Deutschland lebender irischer Maler, dessen Werke in ganz Irland, Großbritannien und Deutschland ausgestellt wurden. Fasziniert von den Herausforderungen des Kunstschaffens versucht er, Resonanzen zwischen den dynamischen Details von Licht und Textur zu erfassen und komponiert abstrakte Stücke, die eine Fülle von verschiedenen emotionalen Reaktionen hervorrufen. Whelan nutzt die visuellen Bilder seines Gedächtnisses, um die Essenz seiner Leinwände zu bilden, und führt einen eng mit einbezogenen technischen Prozess durch, welcher die ständige Untersuchung, Messung und Rekonfiguration jedes Werk vorantreiben.
