Ivan Lambrov is a contemporary Bulgarian art glass artist and sculptor whose practice explores light, colour, transparency, and form. A graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, he founded IBIS Art Glass Studio in Plovdiv in 1992. His work spans kiln-cast glass sculpture, fused glass, architectural art glass, oil painting, and watercolour. Drawing on memory, landscape, mythology, and cultural heritage, Lambrov creates works that balance sculptural presence with a painter’s sensitivity to colour and composition. He has exhibited widely in Bulgaria and internationally, including ArtExpo New York, GAS Berlin 2024, and the Internationale Glaskunstausstellung 2026 in Zwiesel. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the Glass Art Society.
